I don’t take the train much, but when I do I actually enjoy the experience of not having to pay attention while traveling. Last Saturday unfortunately, upon arriving at my destination my girlfriend texted me she was delayed and would be 30 minutes late picking me up from the station. Which was too bad because it was cold, dark and raining.
Fortunately that left me with the time to take some photographs of the new bicycle parking at the Antwerp-Berchem train station that I actually started to like while standing there.
I did not take many, I just tried to make the most of composition (notice the lines?) and cool reflections of the lights on the wet floor. It was also a test drive for my new Nikon 35mm f/1.4g lens I’ve always wanted (but never had the money for until now).
